Learn about the grand opening of Zion National Park and its connection to the University of Utah.

Presenter: John Clark, Author

John Clark is an artist and author with an interest in Utah tourism and automobile history. He and his wife Melissa are the authors of "Opening Zion," a book on the opening of Zion National Park. He also writes a series on automobile history in Utah called Motor Tales. John is a block-printing artist whose work has been displayed in numerous juried art shows across Utah. His passion for tourism history led to the creation of a series of vintage style silk-screened posters that highlight early automobile travel in Utah's national parks. John also designed Utah's newest ski-themed license plate.
