Davis County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 4,377 people out of the 358,831 living in Davis County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Davis County has decreased compared to the 2.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Davis County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 177,360 people who had a job during that time, 2,461 were employed in the Armed Forces and 174,899 belonged to the civilian labor force.
