In a post from April 4, 2026, Weiler wrote: “Elder Wan-Liang Wu was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on December 22, 1970. He married Marcela Beatriz Castellani in 1995. They are the parents of three children.#ChurchofJesusChrist https://t.co/asohnz9NT4”.

A subsequent message on the same day provided further details about Elder Wu’s education and professional experience: “He received a bachelor of business admin from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa in 2014 and a MBA from the Universidad del CEMA in 2020. He has worked for the Church as the operations and maintenance manager for the South America South Area.”

Weiler also introduced another leader in his series of posts: “New Primary President Rosemary K. Chibota was born in Malawi and raised in Zimbabwe.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University and a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. https://t.co/0pG1r9P3Ak”
